For a typical tin roof installation, mounting feet are positioned along the roof and securely fixed into the supporting structure below. Aluminium rails are then attached to the feet, creating the framework that supports the solar panels.

Each mounting foot uses a weatherproof seal around the fixing point to help prevent water from entering through the roof penetration.

The number and spacing of mounting feet also depends on the wind requirements for your location. We install mounting systems in accordance with the applicable solar mounting requirements and manufacturer specifications. In higher wind or cyclonic areas, additional mounting points may be required to provide greater support and secure the array against increased wind loads.
